WORKERS COMPENSATION
Workers Compensation insurance provides benefits to employees injured during the course of their employment. In most circumstances, employers that are required to obtain this coverage must do so from the State of Wyoming Workers Compensation Program pursuant to the Workers Compensation Act WS. §§ 27-14-101, et seq. This program is administered by the Workers Compensation Division of the Wyoming Department of Employment.

The Workers Compensation Act does exempt certain employers and specific groups of employees. In these circumstances, employers may purchase Workers Compensation insurance from insurance companies eligible to transact this type of insurance.
