The Wyoming Insurance Department uses the SLAS Clearinghouse filing platform for processing all nonadmitted insurance policy data collection, reporting and premium tax payments. All individual licensed Surplus Lines Brokers and those who independently procure coverage (IPC) are required to register with the SLAS Clearinghouse. For further guidelines, reference the Nonadmitted Insurance Reporting and Tax Payment Requirements Memorandum, May 1, 2018. 

Any licensed Surplus Lines Broker or IPC filer who fails to file a report in the form and within the time required or to pay the premium tax due on or before the due date; may be fined up to $25.00 per day for each day the report is delinquent and required to pay 9% interest on any delinquent tax due.

The Surplus Lines Quarterly Affidavit Report filed with the SLAS Clearinghouse has replaced the Surplus Lines Annual Report.
