Wyoming Health Insurance Pool The Wyoming Health Insurance Pool was created by the 1990 Wyoming Legislature to provide health insurance coverage to residents of Wyoming who are denied adequate health insurance. This plan is specially designed to meet the needs of those individuals who are unable to purchase health insurance for themselves because of existing health problems. Attention: Effective January 1, 2010 The lifetime maximum paid for the Brown and Catastrophic Plan is increasing to $750,000. The Gold Plan's life time maximum will also increase to $1,000,000.
